Chronic pain is exhausting! It wears on your emotions and your psyche. Waking up every single day in pain affects your entire day and mood.
You're told by your doctor there is nothing wrong or your bloodwork comes back "normal", but you're still suffering.
You've tried it all! The chiropractor, massage therapy, creams, lotions, yoga - you name it, you've tried it. But nothing seems to work for very long...the pain always comes back.
The guilt hits hard when you can't do what you want to do with your family + friends. You feel miserable and don't have the physical or mental energy to go like you wish you could.
Could sleep all night and not wake up in pain?
Could save all the money you're spending to treat your pain?
Could join your kids in their activities?
Weren't emotionally overwhelmed by the constant nagging pain?

Life throws many things at us that rob us of the energy and vibrancy we had once upon a time. Along with debilitating chronic pain, I dealt with a myriad of other symptoms, like extreme fatigue, hormone imbalance, weight gain, irregular cycle, insomnia, migraines, brain fog, dry skin, anxiety, and mood swings for over 7 years. The chronic pain is what ultimately led me to discovering Functional Medicine and Functional Nutrition - forever changing my life.
I became a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor out of a burning desire to help other people discover the root causes of their pain, and other crippling symptoms because I knows first hand what it's like to feel miserable everyday.
Functional Nutrition is all about getting to the root cause of the symptoms rather than slapping a band-aid over them. For YEARS, I was chasing remedies, not knowing I was only treating the pain and never getting to WHY I was having pain! Once I understood how to get to the root cause of my chronic pain, I was able to truly heal my body. I am a completely different person. And these changes didn't come from another fad diet (I had tried them all), more creams, or medications...my body healed itself and now I'm painless.
Come with us and let's get to living pain free!

For years I've heard arguments that we must be healthier because we're living longer. Living in pain, or on medication, or living from one procedure to another isn't the same as thriving. Just living longer isn't equal to being healthier. Recent data shows the average life expectancy of Americans is actually dropping. Will we become a culture that lives short, unhealthier lives? Will our grandchildren inherit more chronic illnesses because we perpetuated unhealthy lifestyles?
Regardless of whether we live to 65, 75, or 95 life is short. When is the best time to make the changes to live healthier, thriving lives? When is the best time to do everything we can to thrive with our grand, even our great grand kids? When is the best time to demonstrate to future generations the value of human life? There's no time like the present.
Life is short, let's get to living!
